Derek Gadd ARPS

Began photography in 1952 while serving 3rd Commando Brigade. Hong Kong and Malaya. My first camera was an Ilford sportsman. while in the Far East I was able to buy my first Leica a 3f. I started freelance press photography on demobilisation in 1956 working for all national newspapers and magazines. Awarded visual journalism ARPS on 23rd October 1990, also working freelance on Croydon Advertiser as required. I have had numerous features/pictures published in Amatuer Photographer, also many features on instructional aspects of photography. My favourite camera is the M series Leica's using M2 / M3/ M6 for 25 Yrs, together with Nikon F/f3 and OMI Series.
