Jasper Schwartz LRPS

Jasper Schwartz has spent the last three years working as a photojournalist and videographer for the Canadian Forces and the Department of National Defence of Canada. Based in Montreal Quebec and Ottawa Ontario Jasper has been lucky enough to document the lives of the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces across Canada, the United States, and around the world.

In 2009 Jasper was awarded the prize for the Department of National Defence "Professional Photographer of the Year" chosen from over a hundred other photographers in the category.

In his spare time Jasper enjoys taking photos of weddings, nature and wildlife, and especially sporting events for the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM, the International Military Sports Council).

Jasper received his LRPS Distinction in October of 2010 with a portfolio made up of photos of the Men and Women of the Canadian Forces in training, on operation, and in military sporting events.
