Who I am

I am DJ, a Geo-Environmental Engineer by day and a photographer by night.

Where I am

I am based in Preston in the north west of England.

What I Shoot

I specialise in gothic, vintage and fetish portraiture and creative photography.  I also photograph ruins, cemeteries and desolate landscapes.  My mission is to capture the beauty in darkness and the darkness in beauty.

How I Shoot it

I use a fairly modest setup comprising a couple of Canon 400D Digital SLRs and a Minolta Dimage 7 (for IR work) with various studio and hot shoe strobe units and a portable background system.

Most of my portraiture is shot using a Canon 50mm prime lens or a Canon 60mm Macro lens and usually takes place at my small studio in Preston, Lancashire.  I utilise a large range of props ranging from samurai swords to burlesque fans and even a full sized coffin.
