I have had a passion for landscape photography since I developed an interest in photography at University College London (85-88)which was part of the Physics and Astronomy course. My first SLR was a Minolta X-300 but I did not pursue the landscape seriously due to other distractions and also lab processing costs/printing hindered me from experimenting and seeing poor results. I did dabble in a bit of astrophotography now and again which was somewhat easier. Since the advent of digital cameras and owning several compacts over the past 10 years or so and producing some nice shots, the passion was reignited. Two years ago I took an expensive plunge and got a Canon EOS 1000D DSLR. I have shot numerous locations on short breaks away and try to do some shooting at weekends. The only pain is the processing images in Corel Paintshop Pro Photo X2 which takes alot of time - dust if you know what I mean. I am slowly building up a rather nice portfolio some of which are here for you to enjoy. It would be a dream to work full time in this field, but for now the day job in a bank postroom rules.
