Miguel Angel Garcia Sanchez

Born in 1966 in Madrid, Spain. He is BSC and MBA by the ECOL.

He was working in BSCH banking group as computing engineer for more than 10 years, wich let me visit over 25 countries in 4 continents. Autodidact photographer, I started when 16yo into playing with a SLR second hand Nikon FE body with 50mm f/1,8 nikkor lens and an B/W ampliator machine at home. 

As Photographer: Started as freelance amateur in 1995, with a photo-report about Princess Caroline of Monaco in Istambul (Turkey) wich was published by Agencia EFE, and nowadays as idependent freelance and has work shown in exhibitions and published. As photographer, his prefered areas of working are: documentary, travels, people, glamour, erotic, art and press photos. Socially involved photographies trying to sensitize the society. 

Actually he shoots with:

• SLR Nikon D200, nikkor 50mm f/1,8, sigma 18-200mm f/2,5, phoenyx 650-1300mm f/8-16, maksutov.cassegrain 1300 f/8
• Compact Canon G9
• TLR Mamiya C330, sekkor 65mm f/3,5

He is the responsible for the organization of the Photo Contest www.concursofotografico.es

As Columnist: has published in several online media about cultural events, literature, movies and cultural reviews, and also socially matters. 

He has a poetry book published, Versos Negros [UNCENSORED]

Member of the Ateneo Científico, Literario y Artístico de Madrid, Ágora agrupacion para el dialogo and the Royal Photographic Society.
