Timothy Nordhoff works primarily with traditional film negative cameras and subjects that relate back to British traditions or industry. He tries to express subtleness in his work, often keeping the image muted drawing on the simplistic qualities within the scenes, allowing the photograph to project itself. Nordhoff’s Hunting & Shooting (H&S) work documents scenes within fleeting British culture; He is driven to photograph the individuals who still adhere to this British tradition. As a key aspect to his work, Nordhoff Is constantly trying to document the future generation of this shrinking tradition.
