I am a British freelance photographer with a nomadic background, currently dividing my time between the Atlantic Rainforest (in the south of Brazil where I am principally based), The Amazon rainforest, and the Ashdown Forest in Sussex.

Born close to the Sahara in Libya, I lived most of my life "overseas" - Middle East, Far East, North Africa, South America and Europe (including UK!) - in desert, rainforest, marine and mountainous locations. I feel lucky in this regard.

My work can be put in the following categories: Travel photography (which should come as no surprise),  Nature, and Food and Drink. I have a tendancy to prefer macro work as I feel that the challenges in this area are particularly rewarding.

Some of my work has won, or been nominated for,  awards in international competitions, and I have exhibited some work in the last couple of years ... something I want to do more of in the next few.
