I Have been a member of RPS for a few weeks.  During this time I have attended a couple of the workshops in Bath, which I have found both stimulating and rewarding.  One of the highlights is the willingness of both the attendees and the tutor to share information to help me on my way to taking better photographs.  Buying my DSLR has opened up a whole new world.  I enjoy the Macro area of photography, and although I have lots to learn I look forward very much to the learning curve. My most recent course involved getting familiar with camera functions.  This was extremely useful, and I have put into practice lots of tips picked up from the day.

Its always a bit daunting when you look at the work already on this site, but meeting fellow photographers really does help, particularly when people are so willing to share their knowledge and information.

I am in the lucky position of now having retired from work, so have lots of time to practice!!
