Stuart Elsom LRPS

A keen naturalist for over 30 years. I've photographed flora and fauna in many locations across 6 continents. Favourite species groups are birds and insects. However during the last two years I've mainly concentrated on photographing wild flowers in my home county of Cambridgeshire, in addition to the above groups.

I'm currently leading birdwatching tours for Sunbird and working as an Ecological Consultant; this consists of carrying out surveys on habitats and protected species both on land and offshore, both in the UK and overseas. My work literally takes me around the world, everywhere from Scottish Highlands to Colombia and from Southern England to Japan. I also contribute as author and illustrator to articles in various ornithological journals, publications, books and reports.

Since 1999 I have delivered bird identifcation courses for several well known ecological consultancies and have led many guided walks and workshops. For the last 8 years I have provided a list import service which caters for the very latest developments in bird speciation and taxonomy.
