I just love drama in all aspects of life and in my photographs I try to create this through ‘Visual Impact’ with a simple, yet striking black and white image or through a combination of intense colours, shapes and textures.

Living close to the sea, mountains and wonderful countryside in Mid Wales provides many creative opportunities for taking photographs. I see unbelievable sunsets, fascinating cloud formations and a sometimes savage sea. I often feel spoilt for choice and this does force me to be very critical of my own work.

I also print all my own work, usually on canvas in sizes from 2 feet square to 40 by 60 inches (100 x 150 cm) on an Epson 9800 wide format printer. I use a combination of Nikon, Sigma and Apple Hardware and Apple and Adobe software in pre and post production.
