William Hogg ARPS

Hello,

I joined the RPS on 1st March 2012 and have attended the Scottish Print Exhibition selection day in Edinburgh on 4th March 2012. I thoroughly enjoyed the day meeting members and seeing their images. I am delighted also that I had an image selected for the exhibition.

I have had a keen interest in photography for about 18 years now and I am a member of East Kilbride Camera Club, the Scottish Photographic Circle and the Lanarkshire RPS Group.

I started doing landscape photography and also did professional wedding photography for 7 years, but for the last 6 years I have mainly been enjoying myself creating surreal digital images.

As a young boy I would often take the tram from my home in Dennistoun, Glasgow to the Glasgow Museum and Art Gallery and be amazed by the great art on display there. I particularly loved the surreal artists.

I attained the Associate distinction in the Visual Arts category on 27th June 2012 and I would like to thank Rod Wheelans FRPS and Peter Patterson FRPS for their invaluable help, support and encouragement.

I look forward to creating digital surreal images for many years to come.

Regards to all,

William Hogg ARPS
