Steven Cheshire

My interest in wildlife photography began as a child interested in collecting and rearing caterpillars. I am actively involved in the work of Butterfly Conservation (http://www.butterfly-conservation.org) especially in Warwickshire (http://www.warwickshire-butterflies.org.uk).

With my passion for conservation growing and the advent of digital SLR cameras, I launched a specilaist web site http://www.britishbutterflies.co.uk featuring my own photographs with the aim to have images of all of our native British species photographed in their natural environment.

Inevitably, I became increasingly interested in other wildlife which resulted in an increasing collection of images, the best of which can be seen on this portfolio and at http://www.ukwildlifephotographer.co.uk.

Ultimately, I hope to have a complete guide to British Wildlife similar to my butterflies site on the internet featuring the best of my photography for everyone to use as a free information resource.
