My photographic subjects are wide-ranging but in recent years my main interest has been in the area broadly described as street photography.

I've held four solo exhibitions in North London and participated in several group exhibitions, including some at London's Barbican Arts Centre library as a member of the City of London and Cripplegate Photographic Society. My most recent solo exhibition in May 2008, resulting from a project in the Brick Lane area of London's East End, was my most successful commercially so far. The exhibition encouraged me to consider going semi-professional.

I gained my Licentiateship last year and, amongst other projects, am currently working towards my Associateship.

I believe that the best images are those in which the photographer tries to express a uniquely personal view of his or her subject, sometimes by a linked series of images rather than a single photograph. In this sense, all photographs are arguably self-portraits.
