Neil Hall

Neil Hall is an award winning photographer who worked as a news and editorial photographer since 2006. After working for leading national press agencies, Neil went freelance in 2011 and covers news and features for newspapers and magazines in Britain and abroad.

Neil is based in London and available for national and international commissions, specialising in portraiture, news, editorial and commercial work.

As well as regularly appearing on newspaper and magazine pages, Neil’s work won First Prize in the Live News category at the 2011 Press Photographer’s Year, won an honourable mention at the prestigious Foto8 Summershow 2011 and was recognised at the Observer Hodges Photographic Awards. He is the recipient on the Royal Photographic Societies Joan Wakelin Bursary 2011.

In addition to producing high quality digital images, Neil also enjoys working in other photographic mediums and has a particular interest in pinhole photography.

Neil is a member of the British Press Photographers Association (BPPA). He initially trained as an archaeologist and worked in museums, before starting his photographic career on the local and regional press.
