(Originally from Northeast Ohio, I am now a resident of the world. I have lived and/or traveled to: Ohio, North Carolina, Alaska, Louisiana, San Francisco, Texas, Canada, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, France, England, Scotland, South Africa, Egypt, Jordan, Cambodia, Singapore, and Indonesia - tomorrow, still more to come)

I have been interested in photography throughout my life, however the last few years it has become my passion.

Being new to digital cameras, I found the need to seek training to make sense of all the bells and whistles. I attended a weekend seminar with a local Jakartan photographer - Melbourne (http://melbournethephotographer.com/), who unleashed the artist within me. After that course I knew what I wanted to do and that was photography.

I enrolled in the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and started unraveling the mysteries of f-stops, shutter speeds, bokah, composition, finding my voice, and Photoshop. I was in love!

I have lived in Indonesia during the last two and a half years which offered the opportunity to experience many different wonderful cultures and locations around our world which my current portfolio reflects.
