The Victorian Chapter is a very active one which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2006. Based in Melbourne, it also attracts RPS members from country Victoria and other Australian States.

We hold monthly meetings which take various forms: guest speakers or our own members presenting a wide range of styles, techniques and individual approaches to photography; or visits to galleries and photographic studios; or occasionally meeting with artists in other fields. 

From time to time we have field trips and various social activities. We usually hold an annual Print Exhibition, and we produce a monthly Newsletter to which all members are encouraged to contribute.

We have also formed two special interest groups - a Photographic History Group and a Digital Working Group. These both meet regularly.

We welcome contact from RPS members everywhere. So if you are visiting Melbourne from interstate or overseas do get in touch - you would be most welcome to attend one of our meetings.
