Bill Allsopp LRPS

First and foremost I am a landscape photographer but I also enjoy making flower photographs and make pictures of anything that appeals.

My first camera was a box camera which I was given aged about 5. I progressed through various film cameras, both 35mm and roll film and finally went digital in 2002. It has been a re-awakening for me. I was never entirely happy in the wet darkroom and always preferred to be outside but the digital development of my pictures is almost as much a joy and passion as being out with the camera. I now give occasional talks to photographic societies on digital monochrome. If this is of interest to you or your club please contact me.

Current equipment is a full frame Canon DSLR, various "L" lenses and a Leica.

My pictures have been published by magazines, used for advertising, on greetings/birthday cards and on the internet etc. You can buy prints or acquire a licence for advertising, editorial or other use. I am also available to produce commissioned work.

Fine art monochrome photographs by Bill Allsopp including landscape, nature, abstract, architecture and other genre. All these photographs are made and printed by me on Hahnemuhle fine art paper using genuine Epson inks to ensure the finest quality. Prints will be light fast for 100 years under proper conditions.
