TRAVEL EVENT

On September 25th, October 2nd and October 16th, the team behind the international Travel Photographer of the Year awards (www.tpoty.com) is holding three very special events for photographers at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London, and we would like to offer RPS members discounted tickets.

Each event features talks by leading photographers such as Steve Bloom, David Noton, Timothy Allen (BBC TV Human Planet) and Jason Hawkes, together with travel experts and even film-makers.  There are also digital imaging workshops, panel discussions and even a pop-up bookshop - in short, lots going on across the RGS throughout each day!. The whole focus is photography - especially, but not exclusively, travel photography - and ticket holders also have the chance to book a one-to-one portfolio review with experts such as Caroline Metcalfe, the photographic director of Conde Nast.

The tickets usually cost £55 per day or £140 for all three days, but we would like to offer them to your members for just £40 per day or £108 for all three days. Information on all the events, plus how to book, appears below. I would be very grateful if you would pass this information on to your members so that they have time to book!

Thank you!

Karen Coe - Director, Travel Photographer of the Year
