No single factor has influenced the development of photography more than war.  And the curator of photographs at the Imperial War Museum, Hilary Roberts, has kindly agreed to share her unequalled knowledge in this field with RPS members.

With a mixture of iconic and rare images, Hilary will illustrate the development of the science and art of photography to meet the needs of military leaders.  Also, she will be showing just how war photography has changed the way we as a people view war and armed conflict.

The meeting will be held at the Civil Service Club in Great Scotland Yard.  We can accommodate an absolute maximum of 60 people and would recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.  Light refreshments will be provided before the meeting and the venue comes with its own Greene King bar which is available both before and after the meeting.
