Steven Cable from The National Archives, Kew, will host the Historical Group and show some of the rich photographic treasures that TNA holds. These range from the Stationer's Hall copyright records, to government records containing photography, through to company records for photographic companies. The Group will have rare access outside of the normal Reading Rooms to these materials.

Those intending to visit are encouraged go to www.nationalarchives.gov.uk then to Records on the tool bar then the Browse our guidance panel A - Z and click on P,  this will give access to what is catalogued under Photography.  Material of interest can be identified from there can made available.

The National Archives is a short walk from Kew Gardens District underground line and National Rail overground station. Free parking is available.

Places are limited to a maximum of 20 people and as this event is proving popular earlier booking is recommended. Two pieces of identification are required on the day.
