"Despite his busy schedule on a short visit to Kuching as a salon Judge to the International Salon of Photography held in Kuching on 1st April12, Nick Ng, The RPS Malaysia Chapter Organizer of The Royal Photographic Society managed to arrange a little bit of his time to say 'hi' to and followed by a discussion with Sarawak RPS Representative Chan Hua Chiang, FRPS together with some of the RPS Kuching members that we are able to contact at this short period of time.

This is the first meeting we have had with the Chapter Organizer and we have found this meeting informative and meaningful.

Many thanks to Chan Hua Chiang, FRPS,  for organizing this meeting. It was a great session, and this was the first time Nick got to know everyone.

A further meeting will be held in November, and this will be a much bigger event. There will be talks and sessions concerning the RPS, with a photography tour thrown in. Around 10 of the RPS members in Kuala Lumpur will fly down to Sarawak for this.
