Morning, Noon and Light
The landscape photographer’s day starts before dawn and ends after dusk.
In this panel I have portrayed the landscape as I have seen it throughout the entire day. I have explored the place, the light, and the mood that I feel when I am looking at the world through my camera lens.
After the golden hour, when the sun rises and the light often isn’t at its best, I have looked at the texture in the inner landscape, out of the way places, and, by producing monochrome images, I have emphasised form and shape that is always there.
Later in the day when the light is on my side, I have shown the beauty that exists all around us, even if we don’t always see it.
