The Thames Valley Region Membes Print Exhibition, and a joint meeting with the Documentary & VBisual Journalism Group will be held on Sunday 20th October 2013 at the Drake Hall, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, HP6 5AH.
For the morning, members are invited to bring 3 prints. All are exhibited on the day. Our guest selector, Don Byatt ARPS, will discuss the prints and select one from each author to form the web gallery of the event. There will be audience voting for favourite prints, which will appear on the region's home page for one year.
Only regional members may bring prints, and there is a limit of 45 sets of prints. There will be places for others not bringing prints. A finger-buffet lunch is provided for all as part of the event.
In the afternoon, there will be a joint meeting with the Documentary & Visual Journalism Group. The speakers will be:
Lionel Squire ARPS: An Introduction to the Group
Dee Robinson ARPS: Documentary Photography
David Cantor LRPS: Street Photography
ALL ATTENDANCE MUST BE BOOKED
There are FORTY-FIVE spaces to bring prints
There are FIFTEEN places for those not bringing prints
The cost of £5 is payable on arrival.
