Jonathan Milnes

I grew up in Scarborough, a seaside town in North East England and was lucky enough to go to a school with a dark room and photography department.   After school I went to Amersham College to do a media studies diploma and with this studied Photo journalism, War photography and video production.

After the all the studying, the big wide World called out and I left the UK for foreign shores. After living in Spain for for some years I moved to south east asia and began to set roots down in Thailand (Koh Chang).

I then became a Dive Instructor, after a year managing a dive resort in Thailand, I put down my teaching manuals and picked up my camera full time and started to develop my underwater photography, this took me to the Bahamas, Cyprus and Egypt where I worked as the resident Photo Pro in the dive shops.

So my year was split in two, 6 months in Thailand doing more land based work, Koh Chang Photographer . and the other half dedicated to Underwater photography in Dahab, Egypt,  Red Sea Photographer .
