Lynda Bowyer
Lynda Bowyer is a British professional photographer whose work covers a wide genre of interests ranging from traditional landscape through to digital art and contemporary abstract images. Self-taught in the mid 1980s, Lynda has adapted a relaxed approach to her work and developed a sound understanding of the technical and practical aspects to photography. Switching to digital photography has given her a wider creative licence and scope in which to flex her capabilities further.
For Lynda, photography is about more than just an image; it is a memory, a scene, or a moment freeze-framed and captured in time. Her work is reproduced in a way which still evokes the same feeling and emotion as when the picture was first taken, and thus creating a piece of art as opposed to a still frame.
A Member of the Royal Photographic Society, she constantly seeks to refine, define and develop her artistic skill; Lynda is not one for complacency with her work ethic or the images she produces. Lynda is looking forward to working towards her LRPS in 2013. Lynda is also a Member of the SINWP and SITTP.
Lynda is available for commissioned work and longer-term projects covering London and the Home Counties. Commissions and projects based further afield are considered on an individual basis. Details and rates are available upon request.
