London Re-Launch Party

As part of the re-launch, we are displaying projected images and holding a blue-tac print exhibition. We hope that you will participate in both!
We are looking for images that typify London.
Projected images – Original resolution with a MINIMUM of 1280 pixels on the longest side. 
  • The preferred means of receiving the images is via Dropbox and we have set up a folder for RPS London as a means to send images from now on.  Please email us (london@rps.org) to be invited to it, and then copy your images from your computer to the Dropbox folder.  We will retrieve them from there, so they will disappear from this folder once we have picked them up.
  • Alternatively, you can email your images to london@rps.org. 
  • Please ensure that each image is labelled with a title (even if this is just London 1, London 2 etc.) and your name, for example: London Eye_Fred Smith FRPS. 
  • The deadline for projected images is midday on Saturday 26th January.  You can submit images even if you are not attending the party.
Prints – we would like UNMOUNTED A4 prints, which you can bring to the party.  On arrival, you will be given some Blue-Tac to stick your images to the wall.  Please note that prints can be collected at the end of the party or returned by post if you provide packaging and postage.
Each member can submit up to THREE projected images AND up to THREE prints.  They can either submit the same series of images for both categories OR a different series for each category.  
Images will be duly credited and the author retains full copyright.

AWARDS
There will be three coveted RPS ribbons awarded at the party.
President’s Choice London Ribbon for the best print, to be judged by RPS President, Roy Robertson Hon. FRPS.
London Ribbon for the best projected image, to be judged by the organisers of the re-launch party.
London Members’ Ribbon for the best print, to be judged by the attendees.
