Following the usual busy day in Edinburgh PS premises, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the day, both in bringing work and involving themselves in the selection 46 members attended and there were approximately 160 prints for selection.I am sure you would all agree that this is always a great day to meet friends from all over Scotland.We had representations from as far away as Dingwall,Perth,Dundee and the Borders.

I am pleased to see entries from a wider area than previous years, and also a greater variety of work than previously - the emphasis on landscape is definitely down, while other categories of work are represented much more than previously. To those who were unsuccessful - may I apologise, and hope that you will come back next year to have entries accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot exhibit work from everyone these days.

To those who did have work accepted (many of whom were unsuccessful last year!) - well done. By the end of the month the work will go to the first venue in Shetland,

I hope you have the opportunity to see the exhibition over the next 12 months, and very much look forward to seeing you at next year's exhibition selection.
