This is the start of something big

Chapter: Benelux

Rotterdam has 47 postcodes and 4000+ streets and we aim to shoot one creative image in each street. Just six Chapter members did a test run of how the processes will operate prior to launching the project to the public on November 27th at Markthal, in central Rotterdam.
Modelled on the very successful London Region project ‘Bleeding London’ the Chapter were looking for a winter project and decided this would be a great challenge.  “It makes us visit areas we would other wise not bother to go to”  said organiser Janet Haines.   "We choose Rotterdam because it is a vibrant, multi cultural, diverse city with docks, waterways, windmills and amazing modern architecture sitting alongside traditional housing”.
All the members in this first meeting thoroughly enjoyed the experience as it made them look at a city, which all visit pretty frequently, but with a camera in hand to make them look for the unusual. Their photos can be seen in the galleries on the project web site.
