Natalie Davison has joined Bleeding London because it sounds ‘bloody brilliant’ – and we agree, it does!
“An Aussie gal originally, I've been in London for 11 years now, so you could say it's my home! I love black and white street photography - although I do occasionally post in colour. While I own a DSLR - I rarely use it because my preference is to shoot with a mobile phone. I've been into iphoneography for three years. I stumbled across a photography meet-up one night, downloaded the Instagram app and went and met a bunch of strangers (now friends) under the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree back in December 2011 and haven't really looked back.
I'm addicted to photowalking and love nothing better than spending the weekends walking the streets of London and finding places I've never seen before. London is always full of surprises and it amazes me that no matter how many times you walk her streets you always come along something new - whether it be an interesting character, an alleyway you never knew existed or a random event that's taking place.
I joined the Bleeding London project because it sounds bloody brilliant and it gives me a good excuse to find out more about my neighbourhood. I live and work in SE1 so will shoot mostly there - but as the project progresses I'm keen to organise meet-ups in areas that need exploring!
