Richard Jane has joined Bleeding London to get his creative juices flowing.
“The majority of my shots are taken in and around London and are very varied in subject (which suits my ‘eclectic’/slapdash approach to my photography). I absolutely love a landscape and there are just infinite possibilities for this in the capital. However, I can be swayed by a bit of urban architecture or street photography also.
Lately I’ve lost my mojo a bit, creatively, so Bleeding London is a fantastic opportunity for me to get those creative juices flowing and inject a bit of purpose into my photography. Essentially, get me out of my comfort zone and out pounding the streets.
I live in deepest, darkest South London in Crystal Palace which is a really vibrant area ‘on the up’ with lots of weird and wonderful to explore with my camera. I work in central London in W1 but I’m going to try and ignore the bigger streets and focus on the dozens of Mews streets nearby. They are all lovely but mostly hidden and I hope that they are going to throw me a few surprises.”
