Bleeding London is having an “Ex” theme this weekend, starting with “Ex” cinemas.
Many of the old cinemas have disappeared; they’ve been turned into shopping centres, bingo halls or blocks of flats. In some place it’s evident where they were and in others, we have to rely on local knowledge. Today, we want to record these magnificent old buildings, but if you can’t find one then snap your local cinema instead.
There are bonus points for any image that used to be a cinema, as long as you add BPCC 251014 and the name of the former cinema to the description box. Ten times the points for those in the suburbs, N12 and N15. (BPCC 2510).
