Today we’re looking for streets with names beginning with “Mc” or “Mac”.
On the day of the Scottish referendum, we’re looking for the “Mc” and the “Mac” streets. These could be historical photographs because if Scotland gains independence, we might not want to have so many Scottish names in our English capital. Admittedly, we were somewhat surprised to find that there are only about 100 McStreets and so we’re expanding the brief to include shops, offices, factories and fast-food chains that begin with “Mc” or “Mac”.
Bonus points will be awarded for any M(a)cs in the suburbs and in the following postal districts: DA18, DA8, EN1, EN3, HA2, IG3, IG4, IG5, IG6, IG7, KT12, N3, RM6, TW15, TW16, TW17, UB10, UB3 and UB5. Double bonus points for McShops on McStreets. (BPCC 1809)

We’re still looking for post-people for some of the postcode areas. If you can help co-ordinate the streets that have been covered and arrange some coverage of your area, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
