British Life Photography Awards – Call for Entries

30 August 2015

Region: London

British Life Photography Awards – the 2015 competition is still open for entries.

Last year, RPS London Member, Simon Maddison LRPS, entered the British Life Photography Awards and did rather well, having two selected for the exhibition, one of which was highly commended.  It would be very exciting if a few more London members could join Simon in the BLPA Hall of Fame.

“The British Life Photography Awards are a unique visual celebration of British life in all its richness and diversity.

Creating an enduring visual record of the spirit and essence of our nation and its people - at work at play and in the community. Your chance to win a prestigious photography award and first prize valued at £6,000. With an overall prize fund worth over £10,000 sponsored by Sony, winners and commended entrants will have their work displayed in an exhibition launching at the Mall Galleries in London and featuring in a book.

With ten separate categories documenting real life through original, illuminating, thought provoking, humorous and poignant imagery. The competition is open to all photographers both amateur and professional. A special prize will also be awarded to the best young photographer.”
