We are delighted to announce that Quilter Cheviot Investment Management will be sponsoring the Bleeding London exhibition. We’re very excited to have such an illustrious partner for this important show, which represents the culmination of one of the most ambitious photo projects that the capital has ever seen.
Over the past year, hundreds of Londoners and visitors have been walking the 58,000 streets of London and photographing every single one. The images will be used to create an electronic archive of inestimable social and historical value, but in the meantime, 1200 images from this remarkable project will be on display at City Hall.
The photographs illustrate the exhilarating diversity that constitutes the fabric of the city – from the iconic sights to the lesser-known backstreets of the suburbs. And the participants have been just as diverse – from professionals with top-of-the-range kit to those who have picked up a camera for the first time. And, unsurprisingly, a significant number of the photos have been taken on phones.
The exhibition opens on the 9th July at City Hall and runs until the 14th August.
Spaces for the private view (8th July) are limited and will be available via the RPS website from the end of the week.
