Brian Griffin Hon FRPS at the opening of his Himmelstrasse exhibition last week. Despite being the warmest evening of the year, a splendid crowd of visitors ventured into the bowels of Charing Cross for the opening of Himmelstrasse and Efflorescence.
And there’s another chance to meet the artist at tonight’s talk and book signing. Details here.
Himmelstrasse is Griffin’s haunting show of the railway tracks that led to the concentration camps in Poland.
Sam Peach’s Efflorescence is a series of diptych portraits featuring young unknown male models paired with cut flowers.
Currently Himmelstrasse is showing in conjunction with Sam Peach’s Effourescence.
If you haven’t had the chance to see it yet, the show runs until the 30th September at the Magic Gallery (Thursdays: 4 – 8; Fridays & Saturdays: 11 – 5; other times by arrangement – email firstname.lastname@example.org). We would particularly welcome group visits – schools, colleges, clubs etc. – and can arrange these at any time.
