20 March 2016
In case anyone missed out on the FB post, the topic for our March 2016 Breathing London competition is: GREEN SHOOTS. This will again be judged by Robert Canis, who will pick what he deems to be the best picture, one which fits the monthly theme and spirit of Breathing London.
If you are casting around for ideas for your March entry and wondering just how green in colour the shoots have to be, Robert has given us some clues as to what he might be looking for in his March blog entitled "Signs of Spring", which you can find here: http://www.rps.org/regions-and-chapters/regions/london/blogs/2016/march/signs-of-spring-by-robert-canis.
Every photographer who is signed up to Breathing London on the Events page of the website, http://www.rps.org/events/2016/january/20/breathing-london-project will be able to select one picture for entry into the competition
Images for entry in the March competition must have been taken between March 1st and March 31st this year and must be e-mailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org, (as last month) before mid-night on 4th April. The winner will receive an A4 framed and mounted print of their successful image. More details about the competition can be found on http://www.rps.org/regions-and-chapters/regions/london/about/breathing-london---its-competition-time
And I just want to say a big "thank you" to all of you who are posting to our FB pages and keeping the dialogue going. Waiting for the website has been a disappointment to all of us but it will only be a week or two now before it is in full swing...!
