18 June 2014
Region: Northern Ireland
Just over a week to go before our Urban Abstract Workshop with Ida Pap from the DVJ group. Ida will be arriving in Belfast on Thursday, to give her time to walk around the city and find the most appropriate locations for her hands on workshop. As you know, places are strictly limited to a maximum of fourteen people on each day. This is to enable Ida to give each participant the individual time and instruction she believes is crucial to the ongoing success of her workshops. We currently have a few places still available on Sunday 29th June, these will be strictly on a first come first served basis. If you know of any one who wishes to reserve a place, please get them to e mail me as soon as possible. Payment for the workshop can be made on the day.
Our meet up venue has changed as Ida did not want to waste time traveling from our usual venue at the Newforge Country Club into the city centre. We will now be meeting at in an art/sculptors studio in Hudsons Yard (previously Haymarket Arcade) in the city centre, just off Royal Avenue. I have included a map of the meet up location in this email. If you have any problems once you arrive in Belfast, do not hesitate to give me a ring on 07902 481 691.
We will meet at the studio at 9:30 for coffee, Ida will then give us a short presentation at about 10:00 before we head off around the city. We will return to the studio in the afternoon where we can review some images and have Ida’s feedback for the day
I look foreword to seeing you at the workshop.
