Hadrian's Wall Walk

28 September 2017

Region: Northern

With a weather forecast that suggested it would be best to stay indoors, 9 intrepid RPS members met at Steel Rigg Car park on Hadrian’s Wall for a 5 miles guided walk.

Our knowledgeable guide Geoff checked that we were kitted out with warm clothes as well as food and drink and off we went.

The first part of the walk tests out lungs, heart and knees but we all survived to amazing views of the Wall and surrounding area.

We had dark skies, shafts of light, a little sun, wind and rain but all in all it was an excellent sociable walk with Geoff and Marj, our back marker pointing out places of interest along the way.

There were photographs in abundance and some will be in the next newsletter.

Roll on the next walk.
