27 October 2013
Region: South East
During the field trip to Rye in October 2013, we asked participants if they would like to provide what they considered to be their best photograph taken on the day, so that we could exchange views and learn from the approach taken by different photographers.
In the briefing, Liz Rhodes, Chairman of the Travel Group, explained that the object of travel photography was to capture the essence of the location. You may wish to view the images below from this perspective.
As we were aware that the new RPS website would offer convenient ways of presenting our images and exchanging our opinions, we decided to wait until the new website was launched and post the photographs within a blog.
Please use this opportunity to comment on these images.
If you haven't sent in your image from the trip, it is not too late to include it if you would e-mail your file as an attachment to Terry McGhie at southeast@rps.org.
