Creative Eye Group visited Bristol

16 August 2019

SIG: Creative Eye

Two of the Society’s ‘Young Members’ joined the Creative Eye Group’s photo walk along Bristol’s Harbourside.

On a glorious sunny morning, twenty one participants met up in Millennium Square to take part in the walk. We sat off to explore the Harbourside. From the now redundant dock side cranes, working steam trains, historic ships to discovering a wall with graffiti by Banksy, depicting a take on Vermeer’s famous ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’, replacing the earring with a security alarm!

Thanking Steve Varman, who organised the walk, we had a marvellous day and now look forward to the results of the photo competition – Bristol Vs Glasgow and the next trip.
