The 2014 exhibitions were selected on 23rd March and the Print Awards are shown below.
The full list of acceptances can be found under "Downloads".
The first showing of the print exhibition along with the projected image exhibition was held in June at Wingfield Barns in North Suffolk. This is the first year that we have been able to show projected images too. Barry Freeman ARPS managed to get a special disc copied and set the PI exhibition up to flow marvelously. We are very grateful to the EAF for lending us their monitor and CD player throughout the exhibition.
The exhibition is now (September) on show at Smethwick Photographic Society’s headquarters in the West Midlands. Judith Parry ARPS will be organising a second showing at the beginning of October.
If you are, by any chance, in the area do go along to The Old Schoolhouse in Churchbridge. Smethwick Photographic Society is one of the leading photographic societies in the UK and their headquarters is certainly worth a visit. www.smethwickphotographic.co.uk
At the end of October and beginning of November, Sandy Cleland FRPS has arranged for the exhibition to be on show at The Edinburgh Photographic Society’s impressive headquarters at 68 Great King Street, Edinburgh. The exhibition will be following The London Salon Print Exhibition. Again, this is a fabulous venue to visit. Look on their website for opening times. www.edinburghphotographicsociety.co.uk
The last showing of the print and projected image exhibition will be held in January at the Woodbridge Library in Suffolk. On Saturday, 3rd January we plan to have a special viewing of the exhibition, including showing the projected images on a big screen. There will be nibbles and mulled wine so please put the date in your diary.
Thank you all, for entering your excellent work into the Creative Group’s 2014 exhibition and a special thanks to all the over-seas members who took part.
Moira Ellice ARPS
Print Exhibition and Publicity Secretary
A CD of both the 2014 exhibitions will be sent to each entrant.
Meanwhile, the 2013 Print Exhibition may be viewed in a Windows audiovisual file from here. (217MB). If you save the file it can be found in Windows Explorer under Downloads.
