POST EVENT OVERVIEW

After about 18 months of work by

your committee, the DI Expo took place

at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport

Open primarily to RPS DIG Members, but

other RPS members and non members

were welcome.A mixture of lectures

in a theatre plus workshop studios for portrait and

flower photography took place.

The annual DIG print and projected

image exhibitions were also on display. 1-1 RPS

Assessments were also available.

Overall, I think the day went well, and people enjoyed the lectures and the workshops. With an event of this size, and the committee all being volunteers, there were bound to be one or two niggles. We hope that we managed to solve any issues that came up expeditiously. We will hope to get a survey out to the attendees to ask about their experience and for them to offer suggestions about how we can improve/go forward.

The committee thanks the speakers, traders and all those who attended who made it the event it was.

In the meantime, here are some video captures I made to remember the day, and show those who did not attend, what they missed.
