Archive for the Future : February topic

13 February 2014

SIG: Doc and Visual Journalism

January’s topic was “Vices and Resolutions” You can still add images to this gallery.

February’s topic is “Transport” What transport do we use now that might be unknown in 20 or 50 years time. What transport will have to be adapted or disappear as the world has less fuel and suffers climate change.

Do have a go, the best image each month(in the DVJ Committee’s opinion) will appear on the blog.

Further information on the project:

Aim: to document everyday life in the early 21st century, with a view to providing a source of images for future researchers. A new topic is announced each month and participants are invited to upload up to six images on that topic.

Registration: On the site you will find: a button, on the left hand side of the home page, permitting simple registration

Under ‘User Information’ a guide on registration and guidance on how to create a photo album. Also under ‘User Information’ there is an extensive section on Terms and Conditions (including your rights to full ownership of your images), which we recommend you read, even if rather boring it does contain all the information you need.

If you have any queries email me on dvj@rps.org.
