Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year winners announced

20 February 2016

SIG: Landscape

Ian Cameron has been awarded the title of Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year, 2016.

According to the competion's website, Ian prefers to shoot with film, using "an ancient Pentax".  He was named as the overall winner in a competition which features a total of nine categories including landscape, seascape and wild places.  It is only the second year of the competition and yet it succeeded in attracting thousands of entries from all around the world.

More details can be found at the official website and on the BBC news website.

The RPS landscape group is hoping to be running at least one trip to Scotland this year - so if you live south of the border and want to enter the competition next year, it could be your best chance!
