The planned date was for Saturday 10th September, but on the days before it became more and more obvious that the weather might not be that good. On the Friday many of those down to attend on the Saturday became concerned as the forecast said there was to be heavy rain throughout the day.
With the marvels of the email there was a quick discussion and the majority agreed to change to the Sunday. The problem was that Pauline Benbrook and her partner, Bill were already on their way and they had booked a hotel for the Friday night.
Of course most likely the Saturday being wet, could have lead to better Landscape photography, but the rest of us did enjoy a warm sunny day with clear blue skies and a good lunch. You can decide for your self which pictures are best between the Wet and the Sunny day. Pauline and Bill enjoyed the Saturday in the rain.
12 members and partners attended and we all enjoyed the comradeship of the Landscape Group day out. We will all be looking forward to the next day out.
