Clinical Video - DSLRs vs Camcorders (and Beyond...)

12 October 2014

SIG: Medical

For a small department or an out-reach location where both clinical photography and video are required, a single device, such as the Nikon D800, that captures both stills and video sounds perfect! But, is it?

This presentation will look at the pros and cons of filming on both a DSLR and camcorder. Comparing video captured by both devices from the same environment and featuring media taken by switching between stills and video using the Nikon D800 and how this can be achieved quickly and easily without compromising the quality to either.

Carl will also discuss editing software and workflows through to backing up.
