21st April 2024 at RPS House
Led by Tim Jones, Fotospeed's technical support lead this workshop will cover the basics of printing and calibration, advising participants about choosing the best paper for the task in hand and ensuring that what you see on the computer screen is what appears on the paper.
Tim will be sharing his personal knowledge and experiences of working with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom as a photographer, and how he has used the software for printing and editing his work over the last 15 years. Tim completed his MA in Photography at Falmouth University in 2021.

21st April 2024 at RPS House
Led by Judy Ford, 2020 recipient of the Joan Wakelin Bursary
This will be a stimulating, interactive workshop to learn different approaches to creating a cohesive set of images. Your aim may be to tell a story or to document an event, place or culture. After an introductory session with examples, most of the day will be spent in practical sessions, working in small groups. Everyone will review the final selections as digital files at the end of the day.
You will leave with a much clearer idea of which images work well and how they fit together to achieve your aims. Also, identify the subject and approach for additional photos required to complete the project.
