09 Asking Nicely
In 2011 we went for a spuddle in our dinghy to see the pigs that live feral on the beach at Major's Bay in the Bahamas. Amazed to see one chap swim out to us after he caught a whiff of our pizza. Once beside us, he launched himself up into the begging position and asked very 'nicely' for a slice. So shocked, we did just that, he then swam back to join the rest of the group. These pigs are descended from the originals left behind many years ago. Having to forage in the sand, over time their snouts have got much longer than usual.
